Andy I agree, the show was extremely crowded. I joined SDCSS this year, so I was let in an hour earlier than the general public, but it was still hard to get around. There's another show in June!? It is held in the courtyard. A must see!
ChrisN82, you cannot go wrong with aeoniums. I grow lots of succulents and I must say aeoniums are one of the easiest to grow. They propogate easily, do well in all kinds of light including bright shade, grow quickly, and come in many colors and sizes. I think I have 10 - 15 species/cultivars and am on the lookout for more. Can't help but post a few tempting photos.
