Default Brighamia insignis 'Kirsten'

Does anybody have any experience with this plant?

It doesn't seem from what I've read that this plant goes dormant at any time in the year. Mine is loosing its leaves and although there are some decent leaves on this it should look lush.

There are no pests on this that I can see and it's not rotting. I don't believe I'm over or under watering it, about once a week.

It's getting 6-8 hours of light under shade cloth per day and the weather has been cooler here in the central valley in California, 90's and even the 80's.

I know this plant is a cultivar and that it is originally from Hawaii...

Any suggestions...

Steve
