Default Id help

I recently purchased this interesting looking aloe(I believe it's an aloe) from my local farmer's market. The leaves look purple with the teeth being yellow. It reminded me of the pair of arborescens I bought a while ago so that's why I planted it in between them. It has about a 4-6 inch stem before any leaves form.
Any guesses?

Thanks!

It's definitely an Aloe, but with more than 600 taxa known to date, it will need to put on some growth and/or flower before adequate identification can be applied.

Thanks, Duke. I kinda figured I needed more time, flowers or details to get an ID. I thought maybe the fact that its purple with yellow teeth would be enough to distiguish itself from a lot of other aloes.

I hope it does well for you. Since you got it from a farmers' market without any identification, it could not only be one of more than 600 described taxa, it could be one of thousands of hybrids as well. Sorry, at that size and without flowers it's anyone's guess. In time it branch, produce offsets through stolens, grow a trunk and become a tree aloe…. Time will tell. Be patient and enjoy the critter.
