Default Raphionacme vs. Fockea

For about 10 years I have had a plant that I thought was Fockea edulis, but more recently I bought a small plant that was a Fockea. Comparing the two, I noticed the old plant has a smooth (if contorted) caude and soft, slightly fuzzy leaves that were oblong. The Fockea, on the other hand, has a gray, bumpy caudex with hard leaves that are considerably rounder and stiffer. I talked to Miles Anderson about this, he confirmed my suspicion that the old plant is Raphionacme flanaganii. It's dark right now and there's a T-storm in progress - tomorrow I will try to photograph the two and post the images.
