Puya laxa or the plant wrapped in a white bath towel

As a general way Puyas are too big (P. raimondi) or too gracelesss grass like (P.mirabilis) in spite
some of their flowers being very beautiful and conspicuous.
Most Puyas have sucha a mamutic proportion only a specialized and very well equiped Botanic Garden may saftely keep them.
Meanwhile some Puyas are very interesting plants as the one that wears a white bath towel all the time,
