Some Dyckias are so festive you do not even need flowers...

Default Some Dyckias are so festive you do not even need flowers...

Some Dyckias may be so colorful dressed you do not need flowers
to celebrate life but if they come celebrate even more as the plant won´t melt from blooming.
..and if you get late to the party do not get sorry there will be manhy,many,many other blooms in the very same plant...



This is a hybrid Dyckia and still very young. It will grow twice this size and even so will fit everywhere.
this is a colorful festive addiction to any xeric landscape.
Will stand some cold but they are happy if kept all the time well above freezing.
Forget zones. The temperature you feel at easy and sweating is the best to them. Penguins and Dyckias do not live together as the second are tropical.

The folowing are Dyckia gloriosa. Dyckia fosteriana and the American hybrid Dyckia Picante:
