Hechtia species

Here is a Hechtia I got last spring. I got three pups and split one off to pamper in a pot with fertilizer and the other two I put into the garden and were grown much harder and with less water. The one in the garden had the leaves blush a red color in the cooler winter weather. The one in the pot with more water and fertilizer never showed any color and is pupping like crazy....
