Smile Acanthocereus pentagonus

I have a large columnar climbing type cacti. I researched and it is Acanthocereus pentagonus. It survived 11F last winter-twice-.It is planted beside my house so the temp is several degrees higher ,but nevertheless very cold. The original cutting ,I got from a lady that has grown it many years,. I germinated hundreds of seeds from it. I think this plant is extra hardy? Any comments or observations or experience with this one?
