Default Dudlya pachyphytum

This really seems like a great plant that could be incorporated in a mass planting into Mediterranean landscape. I have a plant in the ground that has done very well so far here in North San Diego... How sensitive is this species to summer moisture? Is anyone commercially growing this plant?

Hey Allen!
I have one of these in the ground ... clay ... which has done quite well. I split that clump last year. During the 'wet' winter of 05-06 ... it self-sowed and I got about a dozen germinations (only about 7-8 survive) in the same clay soil on a mild slope. Very slow to develop, though.

Hey Allen!
You did all the work loading my Flickr Aloe and bulb pics! Thanks! This site is very impressive and looks great! I'll spread the word at the SDCSS. I've got some crassula pics but they are spread across multiple folders and of varying quality. I'll try to group some together.
