I heard that the large Boophone haemanthoides was coming into bloom,
so today I made a quick visit to the University of California Berkeley Botanical Garden just to see it. Turns out this one is cream-coloured (instead of pink) and smells lovely! It will be an ongoing show as the inflorescence expands into a magnificent infructescence! Jacob Knecht Last edited by Morabeza; 08-06-2010 at 05:47 AM. |
