Default New to Aloes, long time bromeliad enthusiast

Looking forward to learning about my new enthusiasm - aloes and to sharing 35 years experience growing bromeliads (mostly neoregelias, but lots of dyckias, hechtias and puyas).
Starting with Aloe species from John Miller at Institute for Aloe Studies (a great source) so will soon have to find winter room in my greenhouse.

Welcome.

I started out collecting with bromeliads and have moved into succulents as well, especially aloes.

And you're right, John has some great aloe species.

Yes, John Miller is truly "The King", especially for the bay area folks here on the forum.

Check out his manifold plant offerings @ The Institute for Aloe studies. His website address is aloestudies.org

He sent me happily on my way to SoCal with a plethora of new species tucked safely away in my car.
