Hello from Escondido CA
I'm Ron Chisum. Ive been raising succulents for over 30 years. I am lucky enough to live in the same house for 35 years so I have witnessed a few life cycles of several species of agavies and have five species of cacti over 20 ft tall. I do not consider myself to be an expert in anything, but hope to make occasional worthy contributions. As soon as I figure out how to do it, I will post a few photos of my plants. I am a watercolor artist and love to paint succulents. I am also a retired dentist with an undergrad degree in chemistry.

Hey Ron, Thanks for joining us. Things are starting to buzz around here and a lot of lurkers are starting to step up and get involved. (not that you are one of them).....I created a tutorial on posting photo's you might find helpful.....

Ron is modest! his water colors are really nice and I look forward to him posting some scans of his work if he would consider that!
