Default Livistona alfredii

Just thought I'd share a pic of my palm... this is not one normally comes across (though not sure exactly why, though availability is probably the primary reason). For those who want a grey fan palm and already have their fill of Brahea armatas, and who can't grow a Livistona victoriae or loryphylla (both very touchy and cold sensitive species) this is an excellent compromise. It is apparently very cold hardy (though not really tested yet in southern California) an drought tolerant.

Wow...that's a trophy, Geoff. I looked hard for that one a few years back with no luck.
