Default Beaucarnia pliabilis

I can't find much info about this plant on the web. I'm certain it is a form of B. guatemalensis, but with muave colored leaves.
I posted a pic of one of mine in my album. When I figure out how to paste it here I will.

Beaucarnea pliabilis is listed in Standley's Trees and Shrubs of Mexico as being from Yucatan. There might be more information in the Contributions to the U.S. National Herbarium 10:89. 1906.

Thanks, Greg. I wonder if they hold the mauve leaf color their whole lives. One that I had in a pot was really colorful, but after planting out, it has gone green on me. Must be the political climate....
